Face Off Theatre Company is seeking dynamic, versatile performers located within 2 hours of Kalamazoo for our upcoming production

AUDITIONS: In-person @ Jolliffe Theater in the Epic Center

April 13th & 14th, 2024 1-5 PM
Callbacks will take place on April 20th at 3 PM
What To Prepare:
You will be reading from the script at the audition. No need to prepare in advance. Music will be sent to you after filling out the audition form.
All rehearsals and performances will take place at The Epic Center.
All performers will be paid a $350.00 stipend, mailed at the close of production.
Video audition submission requests can be sent to [email protected]. Audition sides will be provided once the request is received.

SYNOPSIS:
Welcome to the Renaissance. The Harlem Renaissance. Sassy. Sultry. Sensational.
The Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s comes to life in the three-time Tony award-winning musical revue, Ain't Misbehavin’.
Join five performers on a journey through the timeless music of Thomas “Fats” Waller. You’ll be jumpin’ and jivin’ with memorable songs such as “Honeysuckle Rose”, “Ain’t Misbehavin’”, “Black and Blue”, “This Joint is Jumpin’ ” and “I’ve Got a Feeling I’m Falling.”

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE:
- Rehearsals: 6-9pm; Sundays through Thursdays, from May 5th to May 30th.
- Tech: 3-10pm on Sunday (06/02) through Wednesday (06/12) from 6-11pm
- Shows: Thursday Invited Dress Rehearsal (06/13) through Saturday (06/15) @ 7:30 PM; Saturday (06/22) @ 7:30 PM and Sunday (06/23) @ 2:00. (A brief talkback will follow every performance.)
*A reception for actors, crew, company, and audience will occur on either opening night or closing day of the show.
