Este'Fan KizerKalamazoo native Este’Fan Kizer says he’s typically known as a song-and-dance man, performing in musical theatre roles. He appeared last summer in Bob Marley’s "Three Little Birds,” a joint collaboration between Face Off Theatre Company and Farmers Alley Theatre, for example, and, in 2016, in our staging of “Dreamgirls.” But he decided to stretch his creative muscles into directing after our artistic director, Marissa Harrington, encouraged and challenged him to try it. “I Am Grace” marks Este’Fan’s directorial debut, but he’s no stranger to theatre. He earned a B.F.A. in music theatre performance from Western Michigan University in 2015. He has performed in numerous regional roles in Michigan, as well as regional work with Chicago Shakes
