6th Annual-Theatre Kalamazoo New Play Festival
Theatre Kalamazoo is a non-profit collaboration between the live theatres in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. The goal is to help make theatre more accessible to the public.
For the past five years, Theatre Kalamazoo (TK) has been providing a platform for local playwrights to develop and share new plays with the community.
In the 6th Annual Theatre Kalamazoo New Play Festival, Face Off Theatre produced a 10 minute play written by Von H. Washington called Lyrical Invasion featuring local actors Ron Ware, Earlene McMichael, and Lars Loofboro and directed by WMU student Nathan Alford-Tate. Company Member, Kendra Flournoy, also had one of her original pieces performed in the festival, as well as, another Company Member Bianca Washington was featured.
