Singer/actress Khadijah Brown, 26, stars in her fifth #FaceOffTheatre Company production! She plays the central character, Undine, in this cautionary tale about remembering one’s roots while seeking fame and fortune. She was previously in “Three Little Birds,” “Crowns,” “Mahalia” and “You’re Gonna Learn Today.” The Joliet, Ill., native got bit with the acting bug in Benton Harbor, Mich., where she was raised. She moved to Kalamazoo in 2017 and further immersed herself in theater. Khadijah became a founding member of the grassroots organization Uplift Kalamazoo last year. In her spare time, the Lake Michigan College graduate is working on a short story book to go along with her “As My Heart Heals” art series. She published her first book, “Life with New Beginnings,” in 2014.
