OSMO - SAMMA YUAG (left/top): Samma is a fresh playwright and director. Although she has been working in The Arts for multiple years as a poet and artist, this is her first time working in a play! They have attended classes provided by Face Off Theater and developed "Osmo" as a result. During elementary, they performed as a tap dancer for three years, traveling to other schools to perform. Samma was a part of an improv team in middle school; she was also a part of the school choir for all three years. They are currently a sophomore in high school and is grateful to be here. Special thanks to the actors for bringing this play to life, and to Ate Nika, their favorite sister and the best sister ever, for encouraging them to take this opportunity. RECONSTRUCTION - LLUXRY NAC (center): With the assistance of Face Off Theatre, Lluxry is a first time playwright and director. Although they have always enjoyed writing short stories and poetry, this is their first time showcasing their writing skills in such a setting. They are proud and humble to be apart of this program. Lluxry is especially thankful for the help of Ynika Yuag and Marissa Harrington for their guidance, teaching, and assistance throughout the program. Lluxry would also like to give a special thanks to all of the actors as well as the sound and light board operators who made this show possible.
FLOURISHING STRENGTH - ARIEL BENNETT (right/bottom): Ariel is a Freshman at Portage Northern. She has been doing theater as a performer since 2017. She has been in four shows with Face Off, including: Home on the Mornin’ Train, Rich Soil, Amazing Grace, and Smoldering Fires. She wants to be a playwright and director and this workshop has helped one of her biggest dreams come true.
