Known professionally as Ryan Tiara Jordan, she is a 20-year-old actress from Detroit. The Western Michigan University sophomore is working on her bachelor’s degree in theatre. She has been in a plethora of productions, among them “The Piano Lesson” (Grace), “Sweat” (Cynthia), “A Christmas Carol” and “The Laramie Project.” While in Kalamazoo, Ryan hopes to expand her professional career and leave her mark on the hearts of those she encounters. Not only will this be her debut with Face Off Theatre Company, but this is the start of a new path full of amazing possibilities to share her work with the world. “I haven’t been acting for 17 years because it’s my passion. I’ve been doing it because the craft needs me. And I need it, too, if I’m going to have any chance of really living life. So, it’s worth the long days and sleepless nights. I’ll sleep after I get those Tony’s.
