Face Off Theatre's 2023 Monologue Competition!
For the past few years, Face Off Theatre Company has hosted a monologue competition to raise funds. We are now proudly a 501(c)3 organization that provides Pay-What-You-Wish tickets and free workshops/training as a means of removing racial and economic barriers of participation in our programming. Additionally, Face Off believes strongly in paying artists and has prioritized that initiative since 2021. All participation, voting, and donation in this competition will directly support us in our mission to develop and produce work in Kalamazoo that is diverse, equitable, and thought-provoking.
All are welcome to compete with the exception of the competition's panel members ). There are no age restrictions - all ages are welcome. Whether you're right here in Kalamazoo or across the world, the competition's virtual format allows for anyone to show off what they got!
The competition is divided into two categories: Emerging Actors and Established Actors. Emerging Actors are those without professional or educational training in acting and/or have no professional acting credits. Established Actors are those with professional or educational training and/or have professional acting credits.
