The Colored Museum has electrified, discomforted, and delighted audiences of all colors, redefining our ideas of what it means to be Black in contemporary America. Its eleven “exhibits” undermine Black stereotypes old and new and return to the facts of what being Black means.

​BLAC is a state commission appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to advise
her on public policy. This month and next, we will be conducting a
series of meetings across the state, including one in Kalamazoo. These
meetings are designed to gather information from Black artists and
leaders of Black arts organizations.

Face Off Theatre Company is thrilled to present our 2025 season, a powerful lineup of shows that delve deep into the theme of identity. At our theatre company, we believe that exploring and celebrating one's identity is a transformative and empowering experience.

​Through these vibrant and immersive productions, we aim to provide a platform for artists of color to share their stories, while also engaging and inspiring our diverse community.
